Providing You with Hospice & Palliative Care 

Hearts of Compassion is an organization that provides holistic community home-based care through Palliative and Supportive Care to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs associated with the final stages of illness, death and bereavement. The provision of quality palliative and supportive care consisting of a controlled Hospice program of total care in accordance with the standards of care of the Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa by professionals and trained volunteers is the mission of the Hospice.

Hearts of Compassion was established in response to the growing need of special care of persons living with chronic illness from rural areas. Most of the communities live in poverty and therefore when they are sick, they do not have the means to provide or care for themselves. We believe that there is no end to caring; therefore, Hearts of Compassion aims to provide a comprehensive approach to address the challenges that our communities are suffering from when it comes to health care especially in the rural communities.
